Internal Socket

The TruGuard internal socket is used to fix the TruGuard Anti Climb System to an abutting wall, pier or post.

The TruGuard internal socket enables the TruGuard Rotating Anti Climb System to be fixed at 90° to the face of walls, posts and columns. They are perfect for alleyways and between piers. Manufactured from cast iron, the internal socket is galvanised to EN ISO 1461 for maximum strength and corrosion resistance.

The central shaft is held in place by a hex key grub screw that can withhold axial loads of up to 900kg when tightened to a torque of 39Nm (figures can vary according to material).

We would further recommend the use of threadlocking adhesive (available separately) with internal sockets.

TruGuard internal sockets are fabricated from aluminium and can be supplied in a polyester powder coated finish in any standard RAL colour.
